IFG-3 Finalists of the Preliminary Selection

The 3rd edition of the INVESTING FOR GOOD has announced the selected projects! Following last year’s focus on social justice and the underprivileged, a total of 46 submissions were received this year. After intense deliberations during the judging panel meetings, eight films have been selected. The themes of these films encompass housing justice, rare diseases, individuals with disabilities, and new immigrants. It is our hope that these discussions, presented through the medium of documentary films, will raise public awareness and foster further social dialogue.

The selected projects will undergo training from July to September and will participate in the pitching forum in September this year. Through this pitching forum, participants will have the opportunity to engage with international trainers and decision-makers from around the world, including television stations, distributors, film festivals, foundations, and other individuals who provide funding for documentary films. They will explore additional possibilities for their films on the international stage.

INVESTING FOR GOOD 3 has selected a total of eight proposals (six from mainland China, one from Taiwan, and one from Hong Kong). We sincerely hope that everyone will continue to follow the INVESTING FOR GOOD and CNEX Documentary Academy for future activities.
