Discovering mountaineering brought him renewed joy, leading to his historic climb of Mount Everest on May 24, 2021, as the first blind Asian and third in the world to achieve this. Guided by Qiang Zi, he proved that “where there is a will, there is a way.”

This documentary explores the life of late artist Li Yuan-Chia, tracing his journey from China and Taiwan to Italy and the UK, where he built the L.Y.C. Museum in the British countryside in the 1970s. Known locally as the “Chinaman,” Li invited over 300 artists worldwide to exhibit, challenging boundaries of race, nationality, and class. Through diaries, recordings, and his friendships, the film reflects on his legacy and his resistance to capitalism in the art world, interpreted through Laozi’s philosophy of “All and Nothing.”
