The 15th edition of CNEX Chinese Documentary Forum (2024 CCDF-15) has announced the selected pr<\/span>ojects. This includes proposals submitted for IFG registration, a new record was set with the reception of 192 submissions. After lively discussions among five experienced industry judges during the initial selection, a total of 20 proposals have been chosen. These include <\/span>documentary projects in production invited<\/span> from the New Taipei City Docume<\/span>ntary Awards, IM Film Festival, Fresh Pitch, TCCF of the Taiwan Creative Content Agency, and Docs by the Sea documentary training camp in Southeast Asia. The themes cover a wide range, including self-identity of people with disabilities and transgender individuals, women’s bodily autonomy, folk beliefs, family roots, and the unique life journeys of world-class athletes.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 20 proposals selected for the 2024 CNEX Chinese Doc Forum (CCDF-15) will participate in several online and offline training sessions from July to September this year. From September 27 to 29, these proposals will be formally presented to documentary industry professionals and experts\/decision-makers from around the world. The goal is to target the international market, seek resources for co-production, distribution, and dissemination, and explore potential cooperation opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n
