The 14th CNEX Chinese Documentary Pitching Forum held its awards ceremony on Sep 24th. A total of 18 CCDF proposals and 8 IFG proposals competed for 16 awards.<\/p>\n

The projects from Taiwan performed exceptionally well this year. The director, HSU Ming-chun, and producer, Diana Chiawen LEE, of “Memories Frozen in Time” took home the grand prize provided by the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), the “TCCF Award,” worth $30,000, serving as the initial funding for pre-production. HUANG Ling-hwa, director, and CHEN Yu-jui, producer, of \u201cThe White Waters,\u201d as well as SU Yi-hui, director, and Wang I-chan, producer, of “Da Ra Song,” received awards from the Doc Edge Award from New Zealand, earning them the opportunity to pitch at the Doc Edge. The directors Claire SHIH and Ray CHAN’s “Do Pigeons Want to Go Home?” received Special Prize \u2013 Local Theme, amounting to $2,000 USD.<\/p>\n
