The 14th CNEX Chinese Documentary Film Pitching Forum (CCDF-14) has announced the selected projects! A total of 165 submissions were received for this edition. After vigorous discussions among five esteemed industry judges, along with the inclusion of films recognized by the New Taipei City Documentary Awards, Fresh Pitch, and the Doc Edge Film Festival in New Zealand, 18 projects have been selected. The chosen proposals cover a diverse range of topics, including wealth disparity, generational differences, elder long-term care, history, rural and urban development issues, environment and Taiwan’s indigenous peoples.<\/span><\/p>\n

The selected projects will undergo training from July to September this year and will participate in the CCDF International Pitching Forum from September 22 to 25. Through this pitching forum, participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussions and seek advice from commissioned editors and experts from around the world. They may also have the chance to secure international co-production opportunities or receive invitations to other international pitching forums and film festivals.<\/span><\/p>\n

CCDF-14 promises to be an exceptional platform for emerging documentary filmmakers to showcase their talent, exchange ideas with industry professionals, and explore collaborations on a global scale.<\/span><\/p>\n
